Graton Resort & Casino, a gaming destination in Rohnert Park, Calif., has broken ground on two wings that will add 220 guest rooms to the current 200-room tower. The new development is part of a $1 billion expansion taking place at the Sonoma County resort. The hotel wings are scheduled to debut in 2027.

The new wing will have a private VIP entrance, as well as an expanded retail lobby with high-end brands.

This phase of the expansion includes a second, adults-only pool, along with a poolside bar, a jacuzzi, a dedicated stage for poolside events, and a dozen cabanas, including VIP cabanas with private plunge pools.

"The expansion of our luxurious hotel and the addition of an adults-only pool underscore Graton's dedication to solidifying our position as a premier destination for leisure and entertainment," said Lana Rivera, president of the property.

More than 20,000 square feet of meeting space is available at the resort, as one large room that can seat up to 1,500 people or divided into as many as seven breakout rooms. Three additional meeting rooms are adjacent to the main ballroom.
