According to numerous sources, the Hotel Vin, an Autograph Collection by Marriott property in Grapevine, Texas, is expanding. In the plans are an upscale new tower, the Hotel Vin Reserve, which will double the room count to 240. Breaking ground later this year, the hotel also will add a new outdoor pool and more event space, while making thoughtful enhancements throughout. Some reports mention that a spa also is in the works.
"One of the things I like telling people is [the hotel] opened in 2020 and their five-year projected sales number... they hit those in the first year [2020-'21]," Garin Giacomarro, the city's director of economic development, told the Dallas-Fort Worth edition of Community Impact. "So they are way ahead of schedule where they should be, and for that reason, they’re doubling down and putting more money and more investment into it."
As the hotel stands now
Currently, the 120-room property features more than 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including the 4,232-square-foot Bordeaux Ballroom, the 2,130-square-foot Tuscany Ballroom and the 4,226-square-foot Rioja Rooftop Terrace. Small groups also can gather in the wine hideaway, CaveSociety and the Magnum Speakeasy.
The Hotel Vin's signature restaurant, Bacchus Kitchen + Bar, features a menu of dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients from nearby purveyors and farms, complemented by an innovative drink menu of cocktails, spirits, craft beers and an extensive wine list. The Riedel Room, a private wine-tasting and dining space within the restaurant, seats 16.
Connected to the property is Harvest Hall, a European-style food hall with eight kitchens and two bars, as well as another event space: The 2,635-square-foot Third Rail hosts up to 125 for a private event.
